How to accept Apple Pay on WooCommerce
Apple Pay from any browser and OS, with the Apple certificate included, plus optional express buttons.
With the Premium plugin, Apple Pay works on WooCommerce from any browser on any operating system — the customer only needs an iPhone or Apple Watch to confirm with Face ID or Touch ID. The Apple certificate (normally 99 €/year) is included. Enable it and, optionally, add express buttons on product, cart and checkout.
Why this Apple Pay is different
Standard Apple Pay is limited to Safari on Apple devices. This integration works from any browser and OS — Chrome on Windows included — as long as the customer has an iPhone to confirm.
Requirements
You need the Premium plugin with Redsys configured (see how to set up Redsys). The Apple Developer certificate that Apple Pay normally requires (99 €/year) is included with your Premium license at no extra cost.
Enable Apple Pay
- In WooCommerce > Settings > Payments, open the Apple Pay gateway.
- Confirm your Redsys credentials are in place (the same merchant code, terminal and secret key).
- Enable Apple Pay and save — the included certificate handles domain verification.
- Test a payment, then go live.
Add express buttons
Express buttons let customers buy in one tap without the standard checkout.
- Enable express buttons in the Apple Pay settings.
- Choose where they appear: product page, cart, and/or checkout.
- A payment sheet requests Face ID or Touch ID confirmation, and the order completes in seconds.
